Moment of truth...

if you saw your problems in a pile with everyone elses you would probably grab yours back.
all that really matters is that you loved
growing old beats the alternative--dying young
your kids get only one childhood.
forgive
frame every so called disaster with these words "in 5 years will this matter?"
no one is in charge of your happiness except you.
get rid of anything that isnt beautiful, useful or brings you joy.
Dont compare your life to others, you have no idea what their journey is all about.
its ok to let your kids see you cry.
Make peace with your past so it doesn't screw up the present.
Your job won't take care of you when you are sick; but your family will, keep in touch!
Just keep taking that next small step.
Life isn't fair, but it's still good!

Our life can only be discribed as beautiful chaos.

Casey is 29 years old and works for Wyoming Haybusters as a truck driver/Hay Farmer. He is a hard worker and a dedicated father. He enjoys hunting, bowling, and building things. He is currantly remodling our house and his work is amazing.

I am 25, I am a stay at home mother and hope to return to school in the next few years after our youngest child starts school. In the mean time I enjoy Scrapbooking, photography, and gardening.

We began our journey 5 years ago and since have grown to a family of six. Jaysen(7)is in second grade, Brock(7) is in first grade, Carter(3) started pre school this year. and Kennedi will be two in December. With 2 adults, 4 children, 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 ferret and 2 fish there is never a dull moment or lack of entertainment. As i mentioned, it is always chaos...beautiful chaos.

This blog is our life, our daily happenings and events...my own personal journal of our family...hope you enjoy it!

Some of my simple pleasures....

My garden
flowers-not cut flowers, real live ones, especially in my yard where they are growing and beautiful
making lists...honestly i do enjoy making lists, even grocery lists or things I need to get done...I know its dumb!
Backyardigans
smelly-good candles really do make me happy
photography. I love it, all of it!
cooking-yeah not really the usual breakfast, lunch, dinner routine, but I do enjoy cooking in general!
Good Book
writing, it doesn't much matter what, even just a journal or a few lines of thoughts here or there, i just enjoy watching ink and paper turning into thoughts.

bottle calves...(i know dumb, but they make me smile!)

April. 16 - yeah its been a long time...ive had sick kids and been super stressed. Anyhow, today we decided to go visit my friend who has 2 girls about my kids ages. I told carter that he was going to play with his friend, and that I was going to visit my friend. He responded, Mom, she isn't your friend, she is just thier mom!
Feb. 22 - Its been a while so I have a couple...This weekend we went to Laramie for a Wrestling tournament, we stayed in a hotel and the kids were asking about the size of the beds. Brock asked if they were Kings, and I said no, they are 2 queen beds. Brock says "Oh, So it goes King, Queen and the ones like mine at home are Jacks?" Ha ha ha, nope, its a twin, but I sure did laugh! ~Second one is after getting home, Kennedi and Carter stayed with Nancy and Kenny over the weekend. We got Carter some soccer shoes while we were in Cheyenne and when we got there to show him he was so excited and explained to us how the orange Puma (they are Puma brand shoes) on the bottom is there so that it can help him go super fast and kick the ball really hard. So cute.
Feb. 13 - Today Carter found an empty box. He played with it a while and it changed from a bus to a boat to a house and so on. Finallly after playing in it silently for a while I asked him what it was...his response..."mom, its a box"
